FM-200 Series Laminated Foam/Metal Wall Panel
System
Protean's FM-200 Series panel systems are laminated
in vacuum presses. Our foam panels use only pre-cured
rigid insulation boards cut from bunstock. The polyisocyanurate
foam is poured in bunstock form and allowed to fully
cure before cutting into slabs and laminated into
panels this eliminates the gas blistering often common
with foamed-in-place panels. This also creates the
superior flatness of the laminated foam panels and
allows for smooth non-textured panel surfaces at no
additional cost. In addition to the smooth finished
panels embossed surfaces are also available.
Unlike some of our competitors we do not have the limitations
of "standard modules" 24", 30",
36"...
Variable widths available up to 55" are standard
and as many different sizes as the project requires
are available at the same competitive price.
In addition to offering a polyisocyanurate core Protean
offers an EPS - Expanded Polystyrene core with similar
qualities at a less expensive price. Both foam core
panels are available in panel thicknesses of approximately
1" up to 6" with a standard thickness of
2".
See our column cover page for more information on column
covers to match or accent your panel system.

HC-200 Series Laminated Honeycomb/Metal Wall Panel System
Protean's HC-200 Laminated Honeycomb metal wall panels
offer perhaps the flattest panel system available
in the market today. The skins are laminated in a
vacuum press to the honeycomb ensuring extreme flatness
and greater composite strength. In addition to the
phenomenal strength of the composite panels the product
is extremely light weight. In fact, the average Protean
laminated panel weights approximately 3 pounds per
square foot significantly reducing the size, weight
and cost of the supporting structure.
See our column cover page for more information on column
covers to match or accent your panel system.

FM-210 Series Laminated Foam/Metal Wall Panel System
Protean's FM-210 Series similar to the 200 series is
laminated in vacuum presses. Our foam panels use only
pre-cured rigid insulation boards cut from bunstock.
The polyisocyanurate foam is poured in bunstock form
and allowed to fully cure before cutting into slabs
and laminated into panels this eliminates the gas
blistering often common with foamed-in-place panels.
This also creates the superior flatness of the laminated
foam panels and allows for a smooth non-textured panel
surfaces at no additional cost. In addition to the
smooth finished panels, embossed surfaces are also
available.
This system offers an excellent means of obtaining
custom insulated spandrel panels designed to be installed
to the structure with mechanical fasteners as a 5/8"
gasketed joint system with aluminum extrusions to
receive extruded silicone gaskets. Typically fabricated
at a thickness of 2", panels may be fabricated
to a thickness of 6", offering a maximum R value
of 35, although the gasket would become recessed.
In addition to offering a polyisocyanurate core we
offer an EPS - Expanded Polystyrene core with similar
qualities at a less expensive price.
See our column cover page for more information on column
covers to match or accent your panel system.
