Honeycomb Metal Panels (HMP)

Available in a pressure equalized rainscreen configuration, Protean AAMA 508-Certified HMPs provide a multiple-line-of-defense approach for rain penetration control.

Protean HC-2000RS panels are tested for static and dynamic air pressure differentials and, with appropriate air barrier and carrier systems, are effective in controlling water penetration from wind-induced pressure.

Configured as a pressure equalized rainscreen, Protean HC-2000RS panels control water intrusion while still offering crisp edges with sharp reveals in the same color as the panel face, without sacrificing flatness or panel edge strength. We construct our HMPs with non-combustible materials for NFPA-285 applications. Aluminum face, core and liner materials make them infinitely recyclable.
