Aluminum Composite Panels (ACM/MCM)

The ACM-2000RS Series is our most economical rain-screen panel system, which provides a contemporary look with crisp, caulk free edges. ACM panel systems are best used in low rise applications above grade. The ACM-2000RS system is designed as drained/back ventilated system. This system utilizes integrated aluminum plate attachment flanges for faster installation than spline joint rainscreen systems.

Installation

Utilizing standard installation details, ACM-2000RS series panels are sequentially installed to the structure with mechanical fasteners, clips and an attachment structure to create a ventilated space. We recommend use of hat girts and self-tapping screws; however, our panels can be fastened to flat strap furring or direct to 5/8” or heavier plywood. Panel system must be backed by and requires proper Air/Water barrier to be designed and installed as with any rainscreen panel system.
